for young people

Life Coaching for young people

All young people under 18 years of age will require parent/legal guardian consent before participating in Life Coaching.

A free ½ hour trial Life Coaching session will be scheduled prior to the initial 1 hour Life Coaching session.

A short Pre Life Coaching questionnaire will need to be completed prior to the initial 1 hour Life Coaching session.

The 1 hour Life Coaching session will be conducted via Skype (with no camera) or telephone and followed up with an email summary and follow up call.

A ½ hour follow up call either via Skype or telephone will be scheduled, sharing what has been working and not working since the last session. This call will also provide an opportunity to discuss future Life Coaching topics.

 

Ideal client profile

⁃ S/he is a high achiever in areas such as academics, sports, music, arts and performing arts.

⁃ Roughly between the ages of 12 to 25.

⁃ Probably enrolled in either Secondary or Tertiary education in either a Public or Private School/College, TAFE or University.

⁃ Possibly boarding at a Private School or College and seeking additional support and encouragement.

⁃ Highly motivated leaders and are probably School Captain or would ideally like to become one in the future.

⁃ Has strong core beliefs and values.

⁃ Are positive, open-minded, passionate, determined, focuses and have future aspirations.

⁃ Believe’s in their unique strengths and willing to continue to grow to reach their full potential.

⁃ Values goal-setting and probably currently setting goals.

⁃ Takes responsibility and accountability for their choices and consequences.

⁃ Is seeking genuine professional guidance and encouragement from an inspirational role model.

⁃ Genuinely wants to participate in all sessions and prepared to participate in sessions outside study hours e.g. Saturday’s and school holidays

⁃ Parents/Legal Guardians or themselves are willing to pay for beneficial professional services.

 

Mentoring for young people

All young people under 18 years of age will require parent/legal guardian consent before participating in Mentoring.

The Mentoring sessions will be for 1 hour duration and conducted via Skype (with no camera) or telephone.

Each session will provide an opportunity to discuss areas of concern, develop effective and sustainable coping strategies, and gain beneficial experienced knowledge.

Inspire ME – 1 month program

Includes 2 sessions (Conducted via Skype (with no camera) or phone), one per fortnight with an additional crisis/support ½ hr session

A free ½ hour trial Life Coaching session.

Pre Life Coaching questionnaire.

Initial Mentoring session (1 hour).

Provides an opportunity to discuss some of the responses in the questionnaire, identify core beliefs, values and strengths, raise any issues, discuss future goals and be familiar with the procedure of Mentoring and future Life Coaching sessions.

Life Coaching session (1 hour).

Email summary of session and a ½ hour follow up call.

An additional ½ hour crisis/support session to be used when immediate issues arise requiring assistance within the month of commencing the program. Once notified an appointment will be scheduled depending on the time of notification.

Payment to be made via EFT prior to the commencement of the program.

(Please note: Saturday and school holiday sessions are available)

 

Transform ME – 3 month program

Includes 6 sessions (Conducted via Skype (with no camera) or phone), one per fortnight with an additional 3 crisis/support ½ hr sessions

A free ½ hour trial Life Coaching session.

Pre Life Coaching questionnaire.

Initial Mentoring session (1 hour).

Provides an opportunity to discuss some of the responses in the questionnaire, identify core beliefs, values and strengths, raise any issues, discuss future goals and be familiar with the procedure of Mentoring and future Life Coaching sessions.

First Life Coaching session (1 hour).

Second Life Coaching session (1 hour).

Email summary of session and a ½ hour follow up call.

Third Life Coaching session (1 hour).

Fourth Life Coaching session (1 hour).

Fifth session (Optional Life Coaching or Mentoring session) (1 Hour).

Email summary of session and a ½ hour follow up call.

Support and connect group program 

Support and connect groups for young people are focused on common areas of concern or interest and experience. Such as:

  • Negative peer pressure
  • Bullying and cyberbullying
  • Body image
  • Self-esteem
  • Anxiety
  • Social media influences
  • Relationship breakdowns
  • Physical disabilities
  • Assertiveness
  • Perfectionism
  • Learning difficulties
  • Stress
  • Career ambitions
  • Depression
  • Exam/assignment pressures

The support and connect group program can be conducted either via Skype (With no camera) (Maximum 4 students) or face to face (Maximum of 6 students) at a school or college.

When conducted at a school or college the program can take place in either a lunch period or a free period (Depending on approval by the Principal or Head of School, the location of the school or college and the level of interest amongst students)

No young person should feel isolated and it is crucial to foster this connection and ongoing support.
A strong emphasis in my business is on tailor making each program to suit the unique needs of the young person.

 

Terms of Service

  • All young people under 18 years of age will require parent/legal consent before participating in Life Coaching, Mentoring or Support and connect groups.
  • Cancellation of a session needs to be made within 24 hours of the appointment time otherwise no refund will be given
  • When a session is cancelled within 24 hours notice another session will be rescheduled for an alternative date
  • Where a session is over 15 minutes late the session fee will still apply and the duration of the session will be taken into account
  • A client can terminate participation in Life Coaching or Mentoring at any time in writing and any remaining prepaid sessions will be refunded
  • Payment will need to be made prior to the commencement of a session via direct deposit into the designated bank account
  • Gift Vouchers can be purchased and will remain valid for 12 months from purchase and are dependent on the availability of scheduled appointments
